Today, her name is a registered trademark, and she is a young and successful fashion designer, creating exclusive custom made garments as well as ready to wear collections of impeccable quality for her clients all over the world.
Elvira was born in April 1993 in Dagestan, south of Russia in a family of leather craftsmen operating an atelier. Elvira grew up in the atelier ambiance and started creating beautiful dresses before she even learned to stitch.
Her parents quickly noticed her budding talent and moved to Moscow in order to give her better education.
Her first education was in Fine Arts. In spite of her burning passion for fashion, she wanted to become a professional artist first, in order to develop her taste, vision and sense of proportions, and she graduated her first college with highest honors.
In China she received a full scholarship once again thanks to her excellent GPA score and was invited to teach academic drawing as a workshop teacher at the age of 23. Elvira became the youngest teacher in the history of the university.
After coming back from China and graduating from the Moscow Academy and decided to continue her studies in Shanghai JianQiao University, Intermark International College in Fashion brand product design and management. In 2015 she was invited to Paris as a fashion designer intern at Emmanuel Ungaro Paris on Avenue Montaigne.

Elvira created her first big collection of 45 looks named “Sun & Moon” and its fashion show took place in Shanghai downtown. With this collection Elvira won 2nd prize in the International Fashion Competition THINK YOUTH held in Shanghai among 250 fashion designers.
In 2018 she graduated from Intermark International Design College with highest honors and received a scholarship for an MBA program in Paris.
In the very same year Elvira founded her fashion label ELVIENSE ®️ in Moscow as well as registered her trademark in 5 countries such as Russia, France, Turkey, China and the USA.
Her name Elvira Bashanaeva ®️ became a legal trademark as well.
Elvira spent 2019 studying for her Master's degree in Luxury Marketing and Fashion Brand Management in Paris. This was followed with an internship as a designer in the French brand Arthur Avellano and in 3 months she managed to create a new SS20 collection for the brand, develop patterns and even sewed the models herself for the fashion show held in Palais Brongniart in Paris. She created the majority of the looks made of latex material.
The same year she became a full time professor of academic drawing, pattern making, fashion design and luxury marketing in Shanghai.
The year 2020 was difficult for everyone, however Elvira did not postponing her progress. In 2020 she registered her company in Paris and launched her first ready to wear collection and sales on the Russian marketplace «Wildberries».
The following year Elvira became a finalist in the International Competition Engraina GES 2021 in Paris among 250 innovative young businesses, presenting her business plan pitch in front of the jury.
Elvira launched a new ELVIENSE collection at the «Dragon New Year» fashion show in January 2024 in Shanghai including a runway of haute couture designs by her international students, who prepared a dragon themed collection under Elvira’s attentive guidance in just 3 weeks.
